Top 10 Most Anticipated movies of 2022

 Honestly I probably don't know about every movies that coming out this year, but I know about the movies that fans are most excited about. Not just only comic book adaptations, superhero sequels or big budget epics, Great directors coming with smaller budget to the films too. 

Honorable Mentions :

Before we dive into the list we will look into some movies that couldn't quite crack the list but we are really looking forward for these.

 1. For those of you who are unaware the first 5 minutes of the movie Jurassic World Dminion got turn into something of its own short movie called prologue. Which gives us a glimpse of something epic, didn't love the previous one so I'm kinda less excited for this one but hope for the best.

2. I know that Top Gun Maverick is going to be great but it seems to have lost a little hype around the fans for the two years of delays, the reason it didn't make it up to the list this time.

3. I think Scream is going bring something fresh to the table, I don't think I would have hope in this one but it's from the directors who brought you Ready or Not.

4. A young Viking Prince embarks on a quest to revenge his father's murder, Robert Egger's approach to a very different look into a very specific time is what makes the trailer of The Northman wild. 

5. I think we could get something special, I hope we'll get something special from Babylon , and upcoming period drama written and directed by Damien Chazelle. Starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie as lead.

Enough for honorable mentions now let's talk about the Marvel and DC movies, because that is what everyone is hyped for, right? 

10. Black Adam : The hierarchy of power is about to change the entire DC universe, this movie was talked about making from five thousand years ago and it's finally happening. I really hope the movie brings us what it promised, but it seems that the director Jaume Collet-Serra only performed extraordinary when he was in low budget. Jungle Cruise with the budget of 200M $ was average but movies like Orphan (20M $), The Shallows (17M $) was jaw dropping. But you don't have to worry about the box office collection of the movie, Dewayne 'The Rock' Johnso is in the movie.

9. Knives Out 2 : In this era of superhero movies, we forgot what a modern age good detective movie looks like. Knives Out was an amazing movie to it's gener, and we got more than what we expected from the first one. Netflix outbid several studious in an auction for the rights of the next two sequels for 469M $. Rian Johnson is coming back to direct the next two movies and Daniel Craig to replies his role Benoic Blanc. Now let's just hope it comes out this year.

8. Thor Love And Thunder : I hate to put only so much superhero movies into the list but it's Taika Waititi dude, this guy is crazy. What he did with Thor's character in Thor Ragnarok was what it gave the character a fresh new attire and brought back to life. People seems to be nervous about the things that is going to happen in the movie like introduction to Mighty Thor, two Oscar wining actors as in the roles of God and God killer, Guardians of the Galaxy as 'Asguardians'. So much is going to happen in the movie.

7. lightyear : Chris Evans as in the voice of Buzz Lightyear, Taika Waititi is also in the movie. When it's about animations, Disney Pixar is always takes the first place with it's charm. This year Pixar is with it's most anticipated movie than ever. This movie is about the back story of the character, why make a toy about the character in the first place, how he got popular,who he is . Trailer is as always Pixar epic and gives a Star Warsy vibe,  which is cool. 

6 . The Flash : One of the movie I was really looking forward to is The Flash, then I heard something... 

1. The flash is  going to erase the Sack Snyder's  storyline from the DCEU.
2. Last appearance of Batfleck
3. Supergirl is new superman
4. Batgirl is new batman
5. New Justice League is formed 

If it's the last of Henry Cavil and Ben Afleck, then I don't know what the hell is WB's problem. Keeping those news aside, good thing may come back with Keaton.

5. Nope : You don't need to know about a lot for this movie, just the name of the Director. Yeah, it's Jordan Peele baby, the modern age horror king. I love the originality behind his direction, he is one of the doctors who is keeping the horror genre alive. I think it's also the most anticipated horror movie of the year. So, is 'Nope' going to be the best horror movie of 2022? 

One word answer: Yep.

4. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness : It's so hard for me to keep this movie on number 04 , just the the fact that Sam Raimi is coming back to nail a Marvel movie again after 14 years and three Variants of Dr. Strange with Scarlet Witch is enough to make you go crazy. 

I saw the trailer of the movie and it looks like the continuation of the series "What if...", which episode is the only great episode of the series. But I'm also sure that this is going to be very much different than the 'what if...' episode. It's amazing what the trailer can do, I probably wouldn't have put it in this place of the list but that trailer gave me hope. 

3. Mission Impossible 7 : Mission Impossible Fallout absolutely spectacular, it did everything what you expect form a Spy thriller. Every time it's on of those movies that breaks it's previous one's level, so my hopes are high to see Tomorrow Cruise on that running train, jumping from the cliffhanger with a motorcycle. The usual Tom Cruise stuff.

2. Spiderman Across The Spider verse part I : At a time I used to think that why aren't we getting Spiderman movies, but it seems to be my dreams are getting fulfiled. Last year No Way Home was a banger at box office as well as in our heart melted watching the movie. This year we're getting the sequel of one of the best spiderman movie or shall I say the best spiderman movie? 

I'm a little worried that it might not be live up to the hype of the first but that's the case with every sequels.

1. ? : 

Do I even need to tell you about this movie? You know what I'm talking about. This movie released it's trailer one and a half years ago when only the 25% of the movie was completed, and that trailer was phenomenal. This movie is already a blockbuster from the time it was announced. And the trailer was nothing but great. It's vengeance, It's Matt Reeves's The Batman. People already comparing the movie with the Nolan's triology, I don't know what to say in this place but I can only hope that it might be the one that is going to touch the levels of The Dark Knight Trilogy. 

The tone feels like realistic take on batman but also comic book-ish, an angry brutal detective batman is what we want. 

In the world of cinematic surprises this year is also going be a number of movies that is gonna beat the hell out of some movies in this list. Hope you have a year full of cinametic orgasm. Happy New year!
