Taika Waititi's Upcoming Projects

 New Zealand film and television director, producer, screenwriter, actor, and comedian somehow always shows up in Movies even though he's handful of directions.Taika Waititi is best known for directing Thor:Ragnarok and Jo Jo Rabbit . 



Recently Taika appeared as a cameo role in James Gun's The Suicide Squad and as a Villain in Free Guy . Let's see when we're going to see his directions and him including in the movie.

1 .Thor : Love and Thunder (2022): Next big project Marvel is Thor love and thunder where Taika will also be appearance with god of thunder and guardians of the galaxy fighting against Gorr the god butcher .



2 . Next star wars movie: Star wars is going to start a new chapter of the the long run movie series after they ended the previous saga with Rise of the Skywalker.Many projects of star wars were announced to stream in Disney+ as spinoff series like The Mandeloriean season 3 , Andor,Bob Fett but next movie is going to be written and directed by Taika Waititi. Taika said "feels very me" about the upcoming movie,He's not doing something with the star wars for the first time he did direct some episodes of The Mandelorian and also appeared in the series.



3. Akira Live action adaptation: Akira is a Anime series that Taika was a fan from his childhood and he is desperate to make one live action adaptation of the anime series.



4. Next Goal Wins : Its an upcoming sports comedy-drama film. The film is based on the 2014 documentary of the same name by Mike Brett and Steve Jamison, about Dutch-American coach Thomas Rongen's efforts to lead the American Samoa national football team, considered the weakest football team in the world, to qualification for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

5.Our Flag Means Death : is an upcoming period comedy television series created by David Jenkins. It is set to air on HBO Max where Taika is going to play the main role in the series,He's also the Evecutive Producer of the series.

 Honestly I probably don't know about every movies that coming out this year, but I know about the movies that fans are most excited about.
